COMBINATION LOCK INSTRUCTIONS

Important Information :
Dialing to numbers must be accurate. Going pass the number and the backing up will prevent the lock from opening(unlocking).

The Factory Pre-set Combination Numbers is 20 - 30 - 40 Opening (4-3-2-1 Turnings):

Step 1 :

Turn dial to the left (anti-clockwise) 1st number (20) to pass opening mark three times and stop on the fourth time.

Step 2 :

Turn dial to the right (clockwise) 2nd number (30) to pass opening mark two times and stop on the third time.

Step 3 :

Turn dial to the left (anti clockwise) 3rd number (40) to pass opening mark one time and stop on the second time.

Step 4 :

Turn dial to the right (clockwise) until dial stops completely (approx. between 95 & 0).The lock is now opened (unlocked). If dial turns more than one revolution, an error has been made, please start again from step 1.

Changing Of Combination Numbers :

  1. To change the combination numbers you must first remove the existing numbers.
  2. Changing of combination numbers must be done with the safe door opened and the locking bolts thrown out. ( by means of locking the safe door while in opening position. )
  3. Dial the existing numbers as in the above steps 1-2-3, except that you line the numbers up at the change/setting mark (not center mark). Leave the final (third) number lined up with the change/setting mark.(stops at 3rd number)
  4. Insert change key (L shape key) into back of the lock through the opening provision behind the safe door, turn a quarter turn to the left (anti clockwise). The lock is now in a neutral position and ready to receive a new set of combination numbers.

Anti Clockwise

Using the change/setting mark dial new number (1st number) as in step 1.
Using the change/setting mark dial new number (2nd number) as in step 2.
Using the change/setting mark dial new number (3rd number) as in step 3. Clockwise

Leave the last number (3rd number) lined up at the change/setting mark, Turn change key a quarter turn to the right (clockwise) and remove change key from the lock.

Test new combination numbers three times by following the Opening steps (4-3-2-1 turnings on opening mark).
